STORIES OF IMPACT
After being diagnosed with cancer, I decided to find a way to stay positive and healthy. I went to the Cancer Community Center, and discovered the Cancer Well-Fit program. That was a turning point in my life. I encourage anyone, dealing with cancer, to take this ten week opportunity. No matter your age, or physical ability, you will be welcomed by a very caring staff.
I attended the cancer support group at the beginning of both my cancer journeys (I fought cancer twice) in Paso Robles. To be able to share my emotions and feelings and also feeling that I could give back to others on their cancer journey helped me navigate my illness. CSC is a vital community service.
During my husband’s journey thru pancreatic cancer and now, since he has died, CSC has been there for me. My CSC introduction was Caregiver Support Group. Debbie was so supportive and informative. Most of all, someone who understands and will listen. Now I’m attending Grief Support. It’s something I look forward to every week. Don’t go thru this alone. CSC helps. I mean really helps.
